“CoDA allows me to work with cutting edge technology to enhance and preserve our ever growing cataloge of archaeological evidence, while allowing me to pursue my passion of multivariate data analysis, in a fun and fascinating environment.”

Tyler first became enamored with anthropology while working at the Phillip Walker Bioarchaeology Lab at UCSB, after aiding in the reconstruction and identification of nine human skeletons from 4BCE Nubia. From there he used his interest in bones, data visualization, and research to develop one of the first methods of enthesis (muscle scar) quantification using fractal harmonic analysis and the quantification of bone breakage patterns using geometric morphometrics. He continues to be fascinated by bones, art, and history.
