“At CoDA I am able to incorporate my passion for anthropology with my interests in digital media. I believe the work that is being done at CoDA is crucial in both the preservation and the progression of archeology, and I am excited to be a part of it.”
Terra is interested in finding ways to apply various integrated digital platforms, including digital video and photography, social media, online forums, and the digital arts, as a means in which to increase and encourage general accessibility to anthropological information. She did field work in Belize with the UCLA Maya Archaeology Program (UMAP), where she studied applied and experimental archaeology field work, and ethnographic study techniques. She also studied abroad in Denmark, learning about Nordic Mythology and Danish visual anthropology. Terra graduated with distinction from UC Berkeley in 2013, receiving her B.A Anthropology focusing primarily on cultural and visual anthropology.
